How to Read Chinese
If you have problems reading Chinese in web pages, read on.
Otherwise skip this page. The most straightforward solution is to download Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 (or later) for free and install it on your system. If you still cannot read Chinese properly after that, do the following :
1. Click VIEW on the menu bar of Internet Explorer.
2. In the drop-down list, click ENCODING. A list of languages will pop up.
3. If you don't see Chinese Traditional (or Simplified, depending on which version youwant), click more at the bottom of the list.
4. Then select the version of the Chinese language you want and you are done.
5. If your IE fails to display Chinese characters properly during subsequent browsing, repeat steps 1-4.
Other commercial packages are also available. Go to their home sites to download trial version of their packages. Some sites are listed below :
1. Magic Win
2. NJ Star
3. Union Way
